FOOD BIZ LAB PITCH EVENT

WHEN: Wednesday, June 8, 5 – 7 p.m.

WHERE: Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship, 25 Roxbury St., Keene

WHAT: Food Biz Lab is a weekend immersion program with ongoing support that will change the course of your food startup. At its core, the program is a weekend intensive where you will work with experienced coaches and facilitators to launch or grow your food business, followed by eight, monthly Zoom meetings to maintain traction. The Startup Weekend Incubator Lab is for early-phase food and beverage entrepreneurs. This is defined as a range of businesses from those that are at the idea phase and have not yet started selling to those selling up to $5,000 per month in product. Food businesses can include valueadded farm products, restaurants, food trucks, packaged food and value-added producers, artisanal beverages (including wine, beer, mead, soda and spirits), baked goods, pet treats and more.

BEST BUDDIES FRIENDSHIP WALK

WHEN: Saturday, June 11, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

WHERE: State House Grounds, 107 N. Main St., Concord

WHAT: The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (also known as IDD). Join 40,000 walkers across the country to support the Best Buddies programs in your schools, workplaces and communities. This 1-mile walk takes place through downtown Concord, with lunch and a dance party included.

BIA OF NH SEACOAST POLICY ROUNDTABLE

This roundtable is open to the general public, members of chambers of commerce and the BIA.

WHAT: A tradition that first began in 1954, the Greater Manchester Chamber Annual Dinner and Citizen of the Year Celebration is an evening of celebrating and recognizing one outstanding individual that demonstrates exemplary vision, civic pride and commitment to the betterment of the Manchester community. This year, Ron Covey, president and CEO of St. Mary’s Bank, will be honored as the next Citizen of the Year. A cocktail reception will precede the program, followed by a dessert reception.

BUSINESS EDUCATION SERIES: CYBER SECURITY THREATS AND BEST PRACTICES
