Connie Roy-Czyzowski Vice President, Human Resources, Northeast Delta Dental

Connie will be sharing about who inspired her early on, as well as reflections of a long career in city government being the only woman in a leadership role.

Connie Roy-Czyzowski is in her 25th year as vice president of human resources at Northeast Delta Dental. Connie’s HR career spans over four decades and includes human resources experience in municipal government, employment as a U.S. Senate staff member, and working in recruiting and college admissions early in her career. Connie was awarded the HR Hero Award by her peers in 2003. Connie was one of NH Business Review’s “Outstanding Women in Business,” received a NH Business & Industry Association “Above and Beyond Award,” and was honored by the NH YWCA as a “Susan B. Anthony Award” recipient for her mentorship and advocacy on behalf of women.

Connie is a graduate of Leadership NH and serves on a number of nonprofit boards, including NeighborWorks Southern NH, the Saint Anselm College Center for Ethics in Society and the NH Women’s Foundation. She’s also a corporator for Canterbury Shaker Village, a member of the Advisory Council for NH Employment Security and a member of the Manchester Community College Advisory Board after serving more than 16 years as a trustee of the Community College System of New Hampshire. Connie also serves on the NH BIA’s HR, Healthcare, and Workforce Development Committee.

Lisa Carter Founder/Chief Engagement Officer, Drinkwater Marketing & Productions

Lisa will be speaking about understanding the power of your personal brand, defining your expertise, authority and developing trust.

Lisa Carter is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for building brands. As the founder and chief engagement officer of Drinkwater Marketing and Productions, she works with B2B and B2C businesses to develop digital strategies to drive revenue. Prior to launching Drinkwater, Lisa spent more than 20 years in the corporate sector building product and brand strategies for top Fortune 500 companies such as The Limited Corporation, Timberland Footwear and Staples Inc.

Dr. Larissa Ruiz Baía President, Lakes Region Community College

Larissa will be talking about being flexible and open to opportunities, taking risks and confronting self-confidence issues.

Dr. Larissa Ruiz Baía brings 20 years of higher education experience to her work as president of Lakes Region Community College (LRCC). She began working at LRCC in July of 2012 as vice president for student services and enrollment management. Prior to LRCC, she worked in higher education administration at both private and public institutions. Dr. Baía has also been an adjunct instructor in comparative politics and international relations writing and collaborating on various articles and book chapters.

Dr. Baía serves on a variety of committees and boards, including the Belknap Economic Development Council, the Granite United Way and the NH Charitable Foundation. Some of her professional interests are in the areas of student success, equity and inclusion, workforce pathways, adult learners, and immigrant and refugee advocacy.

Dr. Baía received a bachelor’s in economics with a minor in Latin American studies from Brandeis University, a master’s in Latin American studies and a doctorate in political science from the University of Florida. She was a firstgeneration college student, proudly born on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, to Dominican parents.

JerriAnne Boggis Executive Director, Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire

JerriAnne will be focusing on digging deeper into our why: why we do what we do and the meaning behind our work.

JerriAnne is the executive director of the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire, the founder and director of The Harriet Wilson Project, and the previous director of diversity programs and community outreach at the University of New Hampshire.

JerriAnne was named one of 25 Extraordinary Women of Southern New Hampshire by the Nashua Telegraph in 2015; the 2017 Freedom Fighter by Seacoast NAACP; and in 2015, she was named by the New Hampshire Humanities Council as one of the 40 most influential New Hampshirites who have vastly enriched human understanding.

Sharron McCarthy CEO, Girls Inc. of New Hampshire

Sharron will be discussing the power of perseverance.

Sharron McCarthy has served as CEO of Girls Inc. NH since January 2020, after having served on their Board of Directors for three years. In this capacity, Sharron oversees all functions of Girls Inc. NH, including centers in Nashua and Manchester, outreach programs across the state and fundraising activities and the overall success of the organization.

Sharron was previously in the publishing business for 32 years, having served as president/publisher of McLean Communications for 21 years. In that time, she launched New Hampshire Magazine and NH Home Magazine. Sharron also proudly served as publisher of NH Business Review and Parenting NH, and created a custom publishing division for McLean.

In 2012, she negotiated a deal for McLean to be acquired by Yankee Publishing.

Other media experience includes The Nashua Telegraph, The Patriot Ledger, New Hampshire Profiles and Worcester Magazine.

Tiffany Eddy is a communications specialist who is responsible for the development and execution of strategic communications for all clients.

She spent nearly two decades as a broadcast journalist, focused on taking complex issues and synthesizing them into understandable concepts for a large audience. Tiffany has been honored with the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award, is a three-time Emmy nominee, and has had her work recognized for excellence by two New Hampshire governors.

Tiffany now works with clients on multiple platforms to assess their specific needs and then execute the best plan to communicate their message.
