Tech, telehealth companies pitch for possible investor interest

On Oct. 11, Launch NH’s Pitch Event, powered by Softeq Venture Studio, featured pitches from 11 tech startups in the state to weigh their investment potential.

Jamie Simchik, co-founder of Launch NH, spoke to NH Business Review on an episode of the “Down to Business” podcast, sharing that, at the event, “We get to learn more about who’s existing right now in New Hampshire with startups and what’s happening. We’re looking for the next best thing, the next Dean Kamen, the next Oracle, that becomes something else.

“I’m enjoying meeting new companies and learning about them.

And I think the problem is finding out about them, and how do we become a lightning rod (for their future success)?”

The goal of the event is to choose six companies to go through Softeq’s accelerator program in Houston, Texas, based on their pitches and its economic impact on New Hampshire.

This year’s participating companies are:

Avendly, a robotic automation vending system for bars, restaurants and food service.

CosmaNeura, a telehealth appointment system provider.

Dailyhuman, a SaaS company that offers learning and development software for enhancing worker and student engagement and promoting mental health and well-being.

Home Outside, a 3-D visualization technology that reconstructs properties to show sustainable recommendations that add curb appeal, privacy, shade trees and plantings.

Mallard Bay, an easy-to-use booking platform for sportsmen looking to book hunting and fishing trips with reputable outfitters and charters across North America.

Rivalry Tech, a food and beverage order-fulfillment, self-serve kiosk with diverse software platforms for hospitality, sports and entertainment industries, as well as health care, hotels, business campuses, movie theaters and more.

Rogue Space Systems Corporation, which designs satellite vehicles and subsystems to provide on-orbit services to satellite operators, including their multiuse Orbital Robots, or Orbots.

Scrapp, a platform that teaches people and businesses how to reduce waste by recycling correctly.

SPAITR, a sports technology company that developed a smart device that attaches to lacrosse and ice hockey players’ sticks to track players’ data.
