CONCORD: DHL Supply Chain, in partnership with the NH Liquor Commission, recently added 27,000 square feet to its distribution center in Bow, where it houses and transports all products sold in New Hampshire’s 66 NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations and by more than 6,200 licensees across the state. Capacity has increased by 200,000 cases, from 1.2 million cases to 1.4 million cases. NHLC sales have grown by 4 percent, from $723.7 million to $749.1 million, over the past five years. In FY 2021, NHLC surpassed $4 billion in total net revenue delivered to the state of New Hampshire.

DOVER: First Seacoast Bank has launched its new Home@FSB mortgage management app, designed to make the home loan process easier and more accessible for customers. With the app, consumers can compare different loan and payment scenarios to help determine which is best for them. Users can scan required documents on their mobile device and upload them quickly to expedite the loan approval process. A messaging feature also helps connect the homebuyer, loan officer and real estate agent at all times. Additionally, users can stay up to date on industry news that may impact their loan, such as changes in mortgage interest rates.

TYNGSBOROUGH, MA: Located at 440 Middlesex Road, Tyngsborough, Mass., The 440, a 178,550-square-foot retail destination, is being redeveloped into an entertainment and dining destination that will serve as a gateway to the Route 3 retail corridor across from the Pheasant Lane Mall. The 440 is part of the Tyngsborough and Daniel Webster Highway market, home to AMC Tyngsborough 12, Tavern in the Square, Dollar Tree, Player One Entertainment and other stores. The 440 developer is Sam Park & Co., a commercial real estate investment and advisory firm based in Mansfield, Mass.

CONCORD: The NH Insurance Department has received accreditation by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ Financial Regulation Standards and Accreditation Committee, which shows the NHID meets rigorous standards of regulation and oversight. A comprehensive on-site review conducted by a panel of independent consultants took place to evaluate NHID’s financial analysis capabilities, financial solvency laws and regulations, organizational best practices, licensing, among other benchmarks. Going through the review process ensures the protection of consumers’ interests and safeguards their data.

DOVER: NEMO, an independent designer of outdoor gear and accessories, has entered into a recycling partnership with Ambercycle, a Los Angeles-based innovator in circular textiles. Ambercycle uses molecular regeneration technology to transform end-of-life textiles into premium cycora material. NEMO’s Endless Promise products — 100 percent recyclable sleeping bags and backpacks — will be transformed into premium-quality polyester yarns, so each item can be turned into a new creation. The brand is also collaborating with its supply chain to divert textile production waste to Ambercycle, which will allow materials to flow through continuous cycles of life, minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization.

TUFTONBORO: North Country Village — a resident-owned community that features 57 manufactured housing park sites covering 83 acres — worked with Meredith Village Savings Bank to secure funding for the co-op. The seven-member cooperative is comprised of volunteer community residents, who manage it on a nonprofit basis, offering affordability for low- and moderate-income individuals and families. Last year, the co-op secured grant funding through the town of Tuftonboro and a loan from the state of New Hampshire to overhaul the drinking water facilities. A loan and three more grants are being sought to complete the drinking water facilities, provide another well and develop a completely new wastewater system, as well as repaving the roads.
