Dr. Eric Y. Loo, a pathologist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, has been inaugurated as the 191st president of the NH Medical Society.

Loo, the first Asian-American ever to serve as president of the society, succeeds Dr. Eric Kropp as president. He is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology.

During his term, Loo said his goal is to help increase and recruit physicians in becoming more active in shaping New Hampshire health policy and regulations.
