1. As part of its Citizens Helping Citizens Fight Hunger initiative, Citizens Bank has supported New Hampshire Food Bank with $56,000 for two refrigerated food distribution trucks, that will help ensure reliable daily transportation to feed the hungry in New Hampshire, with the goal of increasing access to nutritious food among households with individuals who are Black, Indigenous and people of color residing in communities that experience high food-insecurity rates.



2. At the New Hampshire and Vermont Bankers Annual Conference, the NH Bankers Association awarded the 2022 Community Banker of the Year to Dick Jennings, managing director of community development at Mascoma Bank. The honor goes to a bank employee, selected by an independent panel, who goes beyond their usual business duties to help improve the state through civic and community engagement. 3. Eastern Bank recently held an open house at their new branch location at 365 South Broadway in Salem. 4. For the third year, Meredith Village Savings Bank will support the 2022-23 School Days Series Season at The Music Hall in Portsmouth with a $10,000 sponsorship, which will allow the venue to offer complimentary tickets, transportation and lunches to students, so they can attend professional matinees at the theater. 5. Rivier University recently celebrated the renovation of the 30,000-square-foot Sylvia Trottier Hall. The building will house the Nursing Simulation and Clinical Education Center, which provides hands-on learning and state-of-the-art simulation for nurses and nurse practitioners, as well as new business and security studies facilities that feature high-tech cybersecurity labs, collaboration space, a technology hub and an office suite. 6. Northeast Delta Dental recently donated $50,000 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of NH, which is a community walk being held on Oct. 16 at Memorial Field in Concord, with opening ceremonies starting at 12:30 p.m. Visit makingstrideswalk.org/nh for more details.
