The Yankee Clipper Inn, one of the first motels built in North Conway, and the adjoining Blueberry Muffin restaurant have been sold to the family that owns two other hotel properties in town and is in the midst of developing a new 114-room hotel elsewhere in North Conway.

The properties at 1769 White Mountain Highway were sold by Nate Sullivan of Atlantic Operating and Management Corp.

and the Joseph E. Sullivan Revocable Trust, both of North Conway, to MAJM Holdings of Plymouth, a company that includes hotel developer Ashok Patel of Jamsan Management of Lexington, Mass.

According to the Carroll County Registry of Deeds, the land and buildings were sold to MJAM for about $3.5 million, excluding the value of personal property which could not be determined.

Earle Wason of Wason Hospitality Associates of Portsmouth worked with the seller and the buyer in the transaction.

Jamsan Hotel Management Inc. of Lexington, Mass., owned by the Patel family, developed the four-story, 80-room Home-2Suites in North Conway, owns the Fox Ridge Resort and is developing a planned 114-room Cambria Hotel, 110 Grill restaurant and bank office at the site of the former Junge’s Motel on White Mountain Highway.
