MONTHLY FORUM: HOUSING & CHILD CARE IN NH

HOWL-O-WEEN 5K TO BENEFIT ARLNH

WHAT: The Howl-O-Ween 5k is a dogfriendly, run/walk fundraiser with a virtual component available, that benefits the Animal Rescue League of NH. This is a great opportunity to get out and be active with the whole family including your dog(s). Halloween costumes are highly encouraged.

BIA’S 108TH ANNUAL DINNER AND AWARDS CELEBRATION

WHAT: BIA’s Annual Dinner, presented by Eversource, is BIA’s premier event, drawing over 700 business, political and opinion leaders from around New Hampshire. This year, they’ll be honoring three individuals with BIA’s coveted Lifetime Achievement Award, and one New Hampshire nonprofit with BIA’s NH Advantage Award for its work in enhancing NH’s special character and quality of life. It’s a can’t-miss celebration and the best networking event of the year, with access to other business leaders throughout the state. There will also be a livestream of the event broadcast simultaneously.

STAY WORK PLAY’S RISING STARS AWARDS RECEPTION

WHAT: Stay Work Play and NH Public Radio are hosting an awards ceremony to announce the seven winners of this year’s Rising Stars Awards, an initiative that celebrates and recognizes New Hampshire’s remarkable young people and the businesses that go the extra mile to recruit and retain them. The awards reception, presented by Eversource, will be a hybrid event with limited inperson capacity and a simultaneous live broadcast from the Currier Museum of Art. In-person attendees can browse the open museum galleries, listen to live music and enjoy food and cash bars. Daniela Allee, NHPR’s lead for NH’s first and only Spanish news service “¿Qué Hay de Nuevo, New Hampshire?”, will serve as master of ceremonies.
