BASED on data from WalletHub, Concord was recently found to be the best small city in New Hampshire to start a business, with access to business resources being a contributing factor to its overall score.

NEW Hampshire was ranked No. 2 as the best state to save for retirement based on the current amount of retirement savings, according to Forbes Advisor. Data shows that, in New Hampshire, you can earn a decent living and enjoy a healthy housing market without being overburdened with taxes. The Granite State also came in at No. 6 for employers with retirement plans, but ranked No. 37 for cost of living.
ACCORDING to AdvisorSmith’s Cost of Living Index, the city of Manchester’s cost of living is about 1.09 percent higher than the national average. The index was formulated based on the average national household budget, with expenses such as food, housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare and consumer discretionary spending weighed together.
FOR people with disabilities looking to relocate, Nashua seems to be the ideal NH city to live in based on WalletHub’s findings of the best and worst cities for people with disabilities. With a rank of 89 out of 182 overall, the city of Nashua was found to be the best city in New Hampshire for people with disabilities. Economic factors that were taken into consideration included housing affordability, annual cost of in-home services, available CDC funding for disability and health programs, available disability insurance programs and more.
INTERESTINGLY, Manchester’s healthcare services for people with disabilities scored higher than Nashua’s in that same WalletHub study, but it isn’t as economically feasible to live in as Nashua is. Manchester ranked No. 115, overall.
