The Business and Industry Association, New Hampshire’s statewide chamber of commerce, will host its 108th annual dinner in person again after it went virtual last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event will be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester. It typically draws over 700 business leaders and policymakers.

The dinner features the presentation of the New Hampshire Advantage and Lifetime Achievement awards.

While the winner of the Lifetime Achievement will be announced later on, this year’s New Hampshire Advantage award will be presented to the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts.

The committee, a statewide membership organization, is being honored for its work to enhance New Hampshire’s character and quality of life.

“The work we are doing is to create opportunities to bring together artists, art and business leaders and help them to have a dialogue and develop more of a common language,” said Tricia Soule, executive director of the NHBCA. “The intent is to have a greater understanding of how they can work together and how the arts benefit all of us.”
