Dave Juvet, for over 20 years a lobbyist for the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire, has been named the interim president of the organization, in the wake of the departure of the former president, Jim Roche.

Juvet, senior vice president of public policy, has been with BIA since April 2000. He has long guided public policy development and legislative activity for the association and supervises BIA’s lobbying team.

Juvet began his career with the Arizona Automobile Association in 1981, later moving to New England, where he worked as manager of government for the AAA in Massachusetts and then as director of marketing and public relations for the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, before joining the BIA.

The BIA said the national executive search firm Waverly Partners is working with its search committee to find a replacement for Roche, who is leaving this month to become president of the Maine Bankers Association.

Nominations of prospective candidates for the position can be sent to Waverly Partners consultant Eric Peterson at BI-AofNH@Waverly-Partners.com. Inquiries will remain confidential.
