NH Public Radio reporter and podcast host Sam Evans-Brown has been named the new executive director of Clean Energy NH, a nonprofit clean energy advocacy organization based in Concord. He succeeds Madeleine Mineau, who has taken a job with a renewable energy firm.

Evans-Brown, who joined NHPR in 2010 as lead reporter on energy and environment issues, was the creator and host of the podcast and radio “Outside/In.”

After an extensive search, he was selected for his broad understanding of clean energy and impeccable communications skills, said Charlie Niebling, chair of the board.
