1. Meredith Village Savings Bank recently donated $5,000 to The Community School in Tamworth to provide financial support for their 2021 summer camp program. The program, which also receives grant money from the Tamworth Foundation, is free to Tamworth residents, and children from surroundings towns can also enroll at a cost. MVSB’s donation will help offset that cost for local campers.

2. Tamara Roberge, White Mountains Community College’s Coordinator of Workforce Development and Community Education, accepts a $500 donation from Walmart for next year’s 4th Annual Golfing the Gap Tournament at WMCC. The donation will assist the college with educational technology needs and student support scholarships. This year’s Golfing the Gap Tournament raised a record $28,000.

3. Bank of New Hampshire is sponsoring the 2021 season for Farmsteads of New England, Inc., a farmbased program for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities that helps them to produce farm products as micro-businesses. The sponsorship is enabling Farmsteads’ Mobile Food Pantry Program to achieve its goal of doubling the number of households reached by serving 200 households per week.

4. Ledyard National Bank recently donated to the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund and Making Matters New Hampshire, a shared maker and workspace in the greater Concord area. Each organization received $10,000 in support. 5. Wentworth-Douglass Charity Classic raised more than $256,000 to support important programs and services for Seacoast families at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Women & Children’s Center. 6. Rotobec USA’s Littleton facility employees David White and Shane Gray pose with their Train the Trainer completion certificate from White Mountains Community College. WMCC partnered with Rotobec USA, a Canadian-based designer, manufacturer and marketer of material handling equipment, to provide workforce development training to its Littleton and Groveton employees.

7. Bangor Savings Bank has made a $5,000 contribution to NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire in support of the organization’s HOMEteam program, which provides homeownership and financial wellness education and counseling services. 8.
