1. Franklin Savings Bank presented the Goffstown Junior Baseball Little League with a $5,000 donation to assist the organization with the purchase of a new public address sound system for its ball fields located along Rt. 114 in Goffstown. The donation also includes a five-year sponsorship of the League along with signage prominently displayed on the press boxes at the fields where games are played for the majors and minor league teams.

2. Meredith Village Savings Bank recently purchased $35,000 in tax credits from Lakes Region Community Developers through the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority to support renovations at LRCD’s new headquarters at 193 Court Street in Laconia. In 2019, LRCD bought the old Walter’s Market with the plan to turn it into their forever home. The first phase of renovations included interior restorations and repairs to suit the organization’s programmatic needs, adding new insulation and siding on the southwest-facing exterior wall, and improving the building’s front façade. The tax credits will be used for the remaining list of energy efficiency, safety and aesthetic improvements. 3. St. Mary’s Bank donated $2,500 as part of the YMCA’s annual campaign. 4. Salem High School students Jon Smith and Ryan Demers recently learned about fingerprinting at the Salem Police Department. This spring, seven Salem High School students had the experience of a lifetime, in a multi-faceted Criminal Justice Career Exploration Program funded by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. When the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Career Pathway Partnership grant was announced in 2020, Salem High School’s Work Based Learning Coordinator, Stacey Kallelis, immediately knew criminal justice was the career path to focus in on.

5. Arthur Sullivan and Shane Brady, principal partners of Brady Sullivan Properties, hosted a grand opening event with more than 75 guests to celebrate the renovation of Pacific Mill Lofts in Lawrence, Mass. Pacific Mill Lofts, located at 300 Canal Street, is comprised of three renovated mill buildings that are now home to 345 luxury loft apartments. 6. Kennebunk Savings Bank recently celebrated the 10th year of operation for its Portsmouth branch, marking a full decade since the bank expanded into New Hampshire to improve their service to the seacoast and its surrounding communities. 2021 also marks the 150th anniversary for the bank.
