Pierre Morton has been named Franklin Pierce University’s chief diversity officer.

Morton, who joined Franklin Pierce in July 2019 as executive director of the Lloyd & Helen Ament Astmann ’69 Career Center, provides individualized career services programming for students and alumni and promotes career development activities for all majors and programs.

In that role, he also designed and implemented diversity, equity and inclusion employer programs that increased participating underrepresented students’ internship acquisition by 30%.
