MANCHESTER: In honor of CASA of New Hampshire Founder and CEO Marty Sink’s retirement expected this summer, the nonprofit announced the creation of the Marty Sink Legacy Fund for Advocates. The new fund was established to build on existing support through investing in its current advocates and building a pipeline to welcome more. In a press release, the organization says the new fund honors Marty’s years of hard work and dedication, but it also ensures that the values she championed will continue to guide CASA for years to come.

PORTSMOUTH: FedPoint, a federal benefits administrator and marketplace operator, has opened its annual nursing scholarships for 2026. The company will award four $5,000 scholarships, with recipients to be announced in during National Nurses Week, May 6-12. Eligible applicants include graduating high school seniors, adult learners and individuals pursuing a career change. FedPoint introduced the program in 2023 to promote nursing as a highly rewarding career and help bolster the future nursing workforce in northern New England and beyond. MANCHESTER: The NH Tech Alliance is now accepting nominations for the 11th Annual TechWomen of the Year Awards, celebrating technology-focused women who drive innovation and influence technology at companies and schools. The program will honor three women in the technology industry – Tech Student of the Year, Tech Educator of the Year and Tech Professional of the Year – for their achievements and contributions in the field in 2025. Nominations are being accepted through February 23 at nhtechalliance.org/tech-women-awards.

SEABROOK: In 2025, The Brook contributed $12.6 million in donations, pushing its six-year total past $41 million, to help nonprofits that serve the community from hunger relief and mental health services to early childhood education and medical transportation. The casino operates under New Hampshire’s unique charity casino model, allocating a portion of all gaming revenue to local organizations through rotating five- to 10-day cycles.

MANCHESTER: St. Mary’s Bank has partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester (BGCGM) to raise donations so the nonprofit can full its mission of serving its community. From now until February 14, members can visit the Manchester bank branch in person or online to donate any amount, so that the nonprofit can continue to serve tens of thousands of meals, support hundreds of families through their food pantry and mobile market programs, and provide financial assistance to more than half of participating families, ensuring kids have access to care, learning and enrichment when it matters most.
