For business professionals seeking a meaningful way to spend a September weekend, Second Summer Cycle offers more than just a ride—it’s an opportunity to connect, give back, and enjoy the best of Cape Cod.

Scheduled for September 14, 2025, Second Summer Cycle is an inclusive charity cycling event that welcomes participants of all backgrounds and fitness levels. With route options of 15, 34, 60, and 101 miles through eight historic Cape Cod towns, the event is designed for everyone from casual riders to competitive athletes. What matters most is the willingness to support local causes and enjoy a unique community experience.

What sets Second Summer Cycle apart is its focus on impact. Riders can direct their fundraising to one of 20 local non-profits, including organizations supporting health, education, and social services across Cape Cod, or split donations among them all. This is a chance to make a tangible difference while representing your company or professional network in a positive light.

“As a long-time cyclist who’s done many charity bike events, I can say we love this one in particular because there are so many caring and enthusiastic people involved. It’s a very well-run event,” said Davis Walters, a repeat cyclist and co-founder of non-profit and Second Summer Cycle Beneficiary Sharing Kindness.

Second Summer Cycle is supported by over 300 volunteers, ensuring a safe and seamless experience. Nutrition stops, medical support, and SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles are available throughout the routes, so participants can focus on the ride and the cause.

The event culminates at Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth with a lively celebration featuring the twenty beneficiaries along with live music, food trucks, local beer, and $30 food vouchers for every rider. It’s an ideal setting for networking, meeting the beneficiaries you’ve supported, and simply relaxing with peers and new connections after a rewarding day.

For those traveling from New Hampshire or beyond, the event offers a perfect excuse to explore Cape Cod at its best—just after the summer rush, when the weather is ideal and the scenery is spectacular. Discounted hotel rooms are available for registered riders to help you enjoy your Cape Cod experience even more.

Registration is open now for riders and volunteers at www.secondsummercycle.com. Whether you’re looking for a teambuilding opportunity, a way to give back, or simply a memorable weekend on the Cape - between the cause, the coastline and the camaraderie, Second Summer Cycle delivers an experience that’s both rewarding and enjoyable.
