WHY NOT BOTH? PROVIDING HOUSING & PROTECTING LAND ACROSS NH

WHEN: Friday, March 7, noon – 1 p.m.

WHERE: Virtual

WHAT: It’s no secret— New Hampshire is facing a serious housing shortage, an issue that both impacts our communities, our farmers, and our food businesses and inspires fearful visions of the swift development of the state’s prime agricultural lands. The good news: Creative solutions that address both problems exist and are ripe for exploration. During NH Food Alliance’s March Network Café, advocates from housing and agricultural land-use sectors will talk through common issues facing both sectors, and hear examples that equally prioritize a community’s housing needs and protecting agricultural lands.
