MANCHESTER: McLane Middleton has expanded its immigration practice in New England with the addition of the attorneys formerly practicing as GoffWilson, P.A., effective January 1, 2025. GoffWilson has represented thousands of clients worldwide for several decades, guiding global businesses and small businesses alike through immigration matters including nonimmigrant visa categories and permanent residency through to naturalization.

NASHUA: On November 18, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua (BGCN) celebrated the unveiling of its newly renovated kitchen, named The Gupta Family Café. The new kitchen, part of BGCN’s Power of YOUth capital campaign, will allow the Club to increase its meal and snack services from 45,000 to more than 75,000 meals served annually at no additional cost to families.

MEREDITH: Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) has started its annual Mitten Tree Drive, where community members can drop off store-bought or handmade mittens, hats, gloves and scarves at any MVSB location to be given to local schools and nonprofits. The Bank will also match each item collected with a $2 donation to local organizations that work to address childhood food insufficiency.

DURHAM: The Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire is inviting businesses and non profits to collaborate with its undergraduate and MBA student teams on Spring 2025 Capstone Projects, which provide realworld, experiential learning for students. NASHUA: The Front Door Agency — one of the largest providers of homelessness prevention in the Greater Nashua area — has launched its annual fundraiser to help local families overcome and avoid homelessness. Donations to the fundraiser can cover transportation costs; provide new bedding, towels and toiletries; cover utilities for housing facilities; assist families with back rent; provide housing and dedicated case management; provide scholarships for education; and much more. TILTON: Currently under development and slated to open in late spring 2025, The Lake Estate on Winnisquam will be a new 114-room, luxury, year-round resort with a 5,000-square-foot spa. Designed by Samyn-D’Elia Architects of Holderness, the resort is owned by Dan and Elaine Dagesse, in partnership with hoteliers Ed and Patti Rocco, and Rusty and Jodie McLear. The property will also offer 10,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space divided between ballrooms, meeting rooms and a boardroom in addition to outdoor meeting space options, accommodating up to 234 guests.
