CONNECTION INCLUDED ON BEST EMPLOYERS 2024 LIST

Connection (NASDAQ: CNXN), an IT solutions provider based in Merrimack, has been recognized on Newsweek’s list of Most Trustworthy Companies in America for the third consecutive year.

Tim McGrath, President and CEO of Connection said, “It’s an honor to be named to Newsweek’s list of Most Trustworthy Companies in America for the third year in a row. Integrity, transparency and trust are essential to the successful relationships we’ve formed with customers, partners, employees and investors over the course of our 42-year history. Connection has built a reputation as a trusted partner for hardware, software, accessories and services, and we will continue to earn that trust with every customer engagement. Thank you to Newsweek and our loyal customers for this incredible honor.”

The Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2024 list was produced by Newsweek, in collaboration with Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The list recognizes the Most Trustworthy Companies in America in 23 industries, according to U.S. residents’ evaluations across three main public pillars of trust: customer trust, investor trust and employee trust. The basis of the analysis was an independent survey from a sample of approximately 25,000 U.S. residents, who rated companies they know in terms of all three touchpoints of trust.

TSS ADVISORS JOINS ASCEND

TSS Advisors LLC — an accounting firm located in Lebanon — announced earlier this month that it has joined growth platform Ascend as a strategic partner that’s backed by private equity firm Alpine Investors. Terms of the deal, which took effect May 1, were not disclosed.

“Partnering with Ascend is the answer to all of the ‘what if’ questions we were asking ourselves as we looked for solutions to the limitations on our growth,” said James N. Godfrey, CEO of TSS Advisors LLC. “They are literally changing the very model that was limiting us by providing the resources we need to help us grow while enabling us to retain our identity and our culture. Right away they are giving us the support we need in order to focus on the things that matter to us the most: our clients, our people and our legacy.”

With the new partnership, TSS becomes the latest accounting firm to modernize its traditional CPA partnership structure to adopt a business model designed to preserve firms’ independence and culture, energize their teams, support a high-growth environment, and restore accounting as a rewarding career choice for the next generation of equity owners.
