NEWINGTON: NH-based Northeast Purification Systems (NEPS) has powered with Revive Environmental, a contaminant mitigation and water treatment organization based in Ohio, to help destroy per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals and other contamination risks in the New England region. NEPS will offer PFAS remediation trucking and logistics services for its clients using Revive’s PFAS Annihilator technology.

CONCORD: Home health care and hospice agency Granite VNA invested more than $5.2 million in charitable care in FY 2023. Charitable programs and services included bereavement support, educational health and wellness programs, hospice, foot care clinics and subsidized care throughout the 82 New Hampshire communities the agency serves. Additionally, Granite VNA made 134,090 visits to 8,904 home care patients in their homes, facilities and retirement communities, as well as 27,447 visits to 1,143 patients on hospice in homes, assisted living communities, retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, and at Granite VNA Hospice House in FY2023.

MANCHESTER: Breeze Airways announced it has added new service to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport as the United States’ only “nice low-cost carrier” airline. This will be Breeze’s first airport in New Hampshire, offering new routes twice a week with fares starting at $69 one way.

NASHUA: Red Arrow Diner shared recently that its Nashua location will be operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week starting on St. Patrick’s Day. To celebrate, patrons can enjoy half-price beverages, including cocktails and beer starting March 17. The diner will continue to work toward reinstating 24/7 operations at its Concord and Londonderry locations.

DOVER: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital has been named among the best hospitals in the U.S. for the fourth straight year, according to Newsweek’s 2024 “World’s Best Hospitals” rankings. The hospital ranked at No. 180 of the 412 American hospitals included in the list — its highest ranking ever. Wentworth-Douglass was the only Seacoast hospital on the list and one of just two in New Hampshire.

CONCORD: The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Concord program is now accepting applications for the class of 2025. The program begins in September 2024 and continues with monthly sessions through May 2025, where participants will learn different aspects of the city from business and civic leaders, including topics such as history, arts and culture, education, livable communities and smart growth, government and politics, the criminal justice system, economic development, communications and the media, and health and human services.
