BEDFORD: Luxe Living Real Estate has formed as part of real estate group Keller Williams Metropolitan Realty. Founded by Jennifer Delisle, former co-founder of Inspire Realty Group, Luxe Living Real Estate introduces to the industry buyer’s agent Erin Dinsmoor and director of operations Abbie Burton to leverage the latest tools and platforms to enhance the client experience and maximize efficiency in real estate transactions.

CONCORD: Last week, the NH Department of Education launched its fourth year of Re-KINDling Curiosity, a program that provides camp scholarships to eligible children and their families, so they can attend a participating summer camp. Since 2021, the program has awarded more than $1.9 million for 3,529 children to enroll in a New Hampshire-approved summer program. This year, more than $1.5 million is available in scholarship awards.

MANCHESTER: Catholic Medical Center has successfully implemented AVEIR DR, the world’s first dual-chamber leadless pacemaker system from Abbott that treats people with abnormal or slow heart rhythms. Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in June 2023, it provides CMC with a new minimally invasive option to treat the nearly 80% of people who require pacing in two chambers of the heart.

SALEM: NH real estate development firm Elm Grove Companies has completed construction on Depot & Main Apartments, a 74-unit LIHTC (low-income housing tax credit) and workforce housing community at 41 Main Street in Salem, NH. Depot & Main Apartments, featuring one- and two-bedroom apartment options, is financed through the allocation of LIHTC by New Hampshire Housing that were purchased by Royal Bank of Canada, as well as tax-exempt bonds issued by NH Housing and Community Development Block Grant funds administered by the NH Community Development Finance Authority.

BERLIN: The NH Food Bank recently secured a temporary warehouse space in Berlin under a lease with NH Distributors to increase food distribution efforts in the North Country. The warehouse space will be able to house up to 20,000 pounds of shelf-stable food and will also include one freezer and one cooler. The Food Bank began outfitting the 2,000-square-foot space in December 2023, and plans to open the facility for distribution in late winter.

CONCORD: The NH Senate unanimously passed SB 333, enabling foster kids over the age of 16 to independently open a checking or savings account. New Hampshire Bankers Association worked closely with the bill’s prime sponsor, Senator Sharon Carson (R-Londonderry), the NH Department of Health and Human Services and the NH Banking Department to give financial access to a narrow group of young adults.
