Appcast, a programmatic job advertising technology, has launched AppcastOne, the industry’s first omni-channel solution for recruitment marketing, which expands recruitment marketing capabilities, data and tools. AppcastOne is the first new product launched by Appcast leveraging its July 2023 acquisition of recruitment marketing firm, Bayard Advertising.
GeoCue and Microdrones, geospatial solutions providers, announced that Precision Laser and Instrument, Inc. has joined its global distribution network. Founded in 1990, Precision Laser and Instrument, Inc. began as a company focused on the repair of construction lasers, later expanding their services to include laser, optical, GPS/GNSS equipment, 3D scanning, hydrographic surveying, aerial mapping, mobile mapping, monitoring and more.
LAW
The law firm of McLane Middleton has achieved certification under the Mansfield Rule, a national certification for law firms committed to diversity in their workforce and leadership.
It is the first law firm in New Hampshire to receive the certification.
The Mansfield Rule is a national initiative through Diversity Lab, which helps close the gender and diversity gap in the legal profession.

Orr & Reno attorney Margaret Kerouac was recently accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) — a recognition from her peers for “unparalleled expertise and professionalism in the practice of matrimonial and family law.” With over 20 years in the field, Kerouac was also named “Lawyer of the Year” in 2024, 2022 and 2018 by Best Lawyers and has been recognized by Super Lawyers for many years.

Grappone Mazda is now operating out of their new location at 134 Manchester Street in Concord. The automotive dealer opened its doors to their new facility, built by Eckman Construction, on September 18.

Sanel NAPA announces two new additions to management: Dan Doucet is joining them as facilities director at Sanel NAPA, and Ned Carpenter is joining them as an area manager for 11 stores across three states. Doucet brings more than 20 years of construction management and facilities management experience to his new role. Carpenter worked in several different industries before finding a home with NAPA Auto Parts in 1993, launching a 25-year career with Genuine Parts Company/NAPA.

Sanel NAPA welcomed Christi Green to the team as the chief human resources officer, and Sandro Dakalovic has joined as the safety and loss prevention manager. Green brings more than 20 years of HR experience to the team, and Dakalovic is an experienced safety and loss prevention manager.

Jewett Construction, a design-build construction firm in Fremont, NH, has completed the Route 44 Hyundai renovation project in Raynham, Massachusetts. The project encompasses a wide range of renovations that have elevated the dealership to meet Hyundai’s latest GDSI 2.0 branding standards. The extensive renovation project spans approximately 23,000 square feet and includes interior and exterior upgrades to enhance aesthetics and improve functionality.
The NH Division of Historical Resources has listed the Scammon Farm Historic District in Stratham has to the United States Secretary of the Interior’s National Register of Historic Places. Located between the Squampscott River and Portsmouth Avenue, Scammon Farm Historic District includes well-preserved 19-th and 20th-century houses, outbuildings, farmyards, fields and wooded conservation land.

TFMoran recently announced that Eric Poublon has joined the marketing department as a marketing intern in their Bedford office, and Alan Roscoe was hired as a senior civil project manager in the firm’s Portsmouth office. Poublon is pursuing an associate in science degree in business administration from UNH. Roscoe is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts with over 35 years of experience designing and managing civil and environmental projects.

Minnesota-native Berit Brown has joined InTown Concord as their new events and marketing manager. A former video and podcast editor, Brown has experience with web design and social media marketing, among other specialities.
100 People Who Care Central NH will hold its inaugural meeting on Oct. 25, 5:30 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Downtown Concord. Lisabritt Solsky Stevens recently joined the board of directors for Granite State Independent Living. As an attorney, Solsky Stevens worked for 15 years for the NH Department of Health and Human Services in a variety of roles including deputy Medicaid director. Heartfelt Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the treatment experience for congenital heart defect (CHD) patients and their families, has honored Hidemi Kajimoto, M.D., Ph.D., as the second-ever recipient of its Advanced Cardiology Fellows Grant for 2023. Dr. Kajimoto has been awarded $5,000 in financial assistance to pursue her medical training in cardiology and critical care skills to better treat congenital heart defect patients.
On September 9, 279 cyclists participated in Concord Hospital Trust’s 18th annual Pedaling for Payson event at Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton, where over $200,000 was raised to support the Nurse Navigator Program at Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care. The top three teams collectively raised over $42,000 and included: Friends of Day Surgery with $18,630; Team NEMBA with $13,760; and Team HOPE with $10,098. In addition, Mark Schiewetz and Dr. Scott Oosterveen, both of Friends of Day Surgery, raised $10,835 and $6,895, respectively, and Matt Bowser of Team NEMBA raised $5,975.
EDUCATION
The Community College System of New Hampshire’s (CCSNH) Board of Trustees appointed Melanie Robbins as interim president of White Mountains Community College (WMCC). The appointment is expected to last through January 31, 2024, while CCSNH conducts a search for the permanent successor to current president, Dr. Charles “Chuck” Lloyd, who was recently appointed to serve as vice chancellor for the Community College System.
The Franklin Pierce University Board of Trustees has added new members: Ellen Arnold, of counsel attorney, McLane Middleton; Trent Spiner, editor-in-chief, American Psychological Association; and Alexandra Marella Johnson, NH Department of Health & Human Services.
Jameson (Jamey) French, of Portsmouth, and Susan Arnold, of Strafford, were elected as new members to the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire’s Forests’ board of trustees. Don Floyd, of Concord, was elected for a second term, and Deb Buxton, of Greenfield, and Peter Fauver, of North Conway, for a third term. The members also elected board secretary Allyson Hicks of Concord.

Pentucket Bank has announced the promotion of Benn Johnson-Tatelbaum to business banking officer. Johnson-Tatelbaum will help manage a portfolio of small-business customers and develop new business relationships for the bank.
Northeast Credit Union elected new members to its board of directors and Supervisory Committee: Julie Cutting-Kelley, executive chef and owner of Cure Restaurant in Portsmouth; Matt Sawyer, a certified public accountant; and Mark Emerson, a computer science and technology professional.

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), an accounting and advisory firm, announced in late September that the firm has restructured their advisory services under one advisory practice, which integrates the firm’s health care advisory and business and technology advisory teams into one strategic practice. Current BNN Principal Ilona Davis will lead the new practice, which includes a team of 17 advisory professionals.
Northeast Credit Union opened its new branch on Sept. 6, located at 750 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth. The 3,081-square-foot branch features an open-concept lobby, ATMs, as well as services such as account openings, loan applications, mortgage and commercial lending, notary and investment services, wealth management and more.
Mary Lynne Rahlson, the senior vice president, senior retail banking officer for Merrimack County Savings Bank, has announced her retirement, effective November 17. Rahlson has been with the bank for 22 years, joining the team in 2001 as vice president, retail banking administration. Brad Kulacz, regional vice president and branch manager, will be Rahlson’s successor.

Verizon has appointed Chris Flood as a senior vice president and the market president of Verizon’s Atlantic North Market, which includes New Hampshire. Flood will oversee all consumer sales, distribution and operational execution across the market’s 12 states, including New Hampshire.
BEA Commissioner Taylor Caswell honored
The Franconia Notch Regional Chamber of Commerce recognized NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs Commissioner Taylor Caswell with the Northern Star Award, which honors individuals, businesses or organizations that have made a significant contribution to the North Country. First appointed to the position by Gov. Chris Sununu in 2017, Caswell also leads the Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR) and co-chaired the state Economic Reopening Task Force during the pandemic.
