THE U.S. Hispanic population reached 63.6 million in 2022, up from 50.5 million in 2010, according to the Pew Research Center, based on Census Bureau data. In 2022, Hispanics made up nearly 1 in 5 people in the U.S. (19%), up from 16% in 2010 and just 5% in 1970. Additionally, the 37.4 million people of Mexican origin in the U.S. represented nearly 60% of the nation’s Hispanic population in 2022.
WHEN evaluating employee salary and compensation, Resume-Builder.com found that 49% of men have negotiated their pay rate within the past two years, versus only 32% of women. Intimidation was the top reason for why less women chose to negotiate their salary, with 42% of women saying they received the rate they wanted, versus 55% of men.
MORE than half of Americans (55%) say there are too few women in top executive business positions, according to a new Pew Research Center survey — down from 59% in 2018. Colorado was the state with the most people working from home. Of those U.S. workers surveyed, 63.2% of respondents said they do not work remotely at all.
