Congresswoman Annie Kuster will be presented with the NH Women’s Foundation’s 2023 AmplifiHER award Saturday, April 29, at the organization’s sixth annual GALA.

The event, which will take place at the Grappone Center in Concord, will also feature dinner, dancing and stories from trailblazing Granite State women.

The AmplifiHER Award is given annually to an individual or individuals who have dedicated their personal and professional lives to lifting up women and girls in the Granite State.

Kuster — a founder of the Women’s Fund of New Hampshire and a longtime friend of the NH Women’s Foundation — will be honored for the “steadfast leadership” she has displayed at “a time of unprecedented attacks against women, girls and marginalized genders, said Tanna Clews, CEO of the foundation.

In addition to Kuster, guests will hear from three trailblazer guest speakers: law student, organizer and Black Lives Matter Manchester co-founder Ronelle Tshiela; Black Heritage Trail of NH Executive Director JerriAnne Boggis; and Elizabeth Hager, a longtime public servant, sponsor of New Hampshire’s Equal Rights Amendment and a reproductive rights champion.
