WHEN: Every Friday starting Dec. 16, 6 – 8 p.m.

WHERE: Port City Makerspace, 68 Morning St., Portsmouth

WHAT: Port City Makerspace will be open for use by the community. Anyone can drop in Friday nights to work on projects, 3D print or laseretch designs they’ve made or found, sewing projects, small repair, and more. Access is restricted to the tools in the electronics lab and our classroom. Share your projects, learn a new skill, and meet other makers — tinkerers young and old are welcome. There will also be a virtual component to this as well to encourage activity without necessarily being on-site.

FLAG HILL DISTILLERY & WINERY JANUARY CHEF’S TABLE DINNER

WHAT: Chef’s Table Dinner Series are dinner events that happen at Flag Hill. COMEDY NIGHT FUNDRAISER

WHEN: Saturday, Jan. 21, 6 – 10 p.m.

WHERE: Amato Center for Performing Arts, 56 Mont Vernon St., Milford

WHAT: The Greater Merrimack Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a comedy night to benefit the Boys & Girls of Souhegan Valley, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the programs at the nonprofit. Ticket price will include hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, games, prizes and more. The comedic lineup includes Brad Mastrangelo, Jody Sloane and headliner Rob Steen. Between them, they have appeared throughout New England and the United States at Headliners Comedy Clubs, Vegas, cruise lines, the David Letterman Show and others.
