1. E. & J. Gallo Winery, Pine State Beverage and the NH Liquor Commission (NHLC) raised $40,000 for the New Hampshire Food Bank to help the nonprofit fight hunger in the Granite State. During November and December 2021, E. & J. Gallo Winery donated 50 cents to the NH Food Bank on sales of select bottles of wine sold at NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations. With the donation, the Food Bank will be able to provide more than 80,000 meals for the one in nine New Hampshire residents facing food insecurity.



2. RiverStone Resources LLC in Manchester donated over $87,000 to the NH Food Bank after a week of internal competitions to see which of three RiverStone teams could raise the most money. 3. Waypoint’s SleepOut 2022, held March 25, raised over $313,000 to help youth who are homeless or housing insecure, and to work toward ending youth homelessness in New Hampshire. This year’s event was held remotely, with 270 people across the state who slept in their own backyards or congregated together, and conducted fundraising campaigns online. 4. Through its charitable gaming, Filotimo Casino, Restaurant and Sportsbook helped raise over $71,000 for Swim with a Mission (SWAM), a nonprofit that works to strengthen and support organizations that service and honor veterans. 5. Gather, a Portsmouth-based food pantry, has partnered with Great Bay Community College to provide food-insecure students with a campus-based kitchen and café, serving affordable, convenient, healthy food options. The Gather Café at Great Bay is expected to open in May for students, faculty and staff and will be operational for the GBCC community at the beginning of the fall semester.



6. Plymouth State University has been awarded a $1 million federal grant, sponsored by Senator Jeanne Shaheen, to construct a cutting-edge robotics lab that will offer students opportunities to learn and create within the University’s Cluster Learning Model. The 4,500-square-foot, stateof-the-industry robotics lab will include laboratory, electronic benches, classrooms and other instructional spaces, and will feature equipment and tools including 3-D printing, laser cutting, PCB circuit-board design and milling, and more.



7. Chase recently opened its seventh NH-based branch on Elm Street in Manchester, featuring state-of-the-art ATMs and a living room-inspired lobby. The local team of Chase bankers celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Mayor Joyce Craig and partners from NeighborWorks of Southern NH. With their newest branch, Chase looks forward to helping drive inclusive economic growth throughout Manchester and southern NH.
