REAL ESTATE

Real estate investment firm The Kane Company, Portsmouth, has named Andrew Ginsburg as its president and chief operating officer, a newly created position. Ginsburg has over 20 years of experience, including management positions with Sovereign Real Estate Group, Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust and Down East Management Associates.

James Prieto of Nashua-based Granite Commercial Real Estate helped BJ’s Wholesale Club in sourcing a new southern New Hampshire location for a BJ’s Gas Station at 210 Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua. The site is BJ’s Gas fifth New Hampshire location as it seeks to expand its footprint in the market.

Kristin White St. Cyr of The Dow Realty Group, Meredith, has been honored for achieving the firm’ highest sales volume for 2021. Her total volume of $34,534,000 in 2021 shows that she has “set herself apart from other agents as a premier luxury and waterfront specialist,” said Adam Dow, owner of the firm.


ADVERTISING AND MARKETING

Talient Action Group has announced implementation of Prinect, a Heidelberg prepress system that automates the processing of print files for digital and offset printing, as well as postpress finishing systems. The addition will help the firm provide faster processing and reduced costs, the company said.


CONSTRUCTION

Outdoor Pride Landscape & Snow Management, Manchester, has promoted Bill Butts to vice president of client relations & sales. Butts, of Norwood, Mass., joined Outdoor Pride in 2018, and has more than 35 years of sales and management experience in the commercial landscape and snow industry.

Decorative Interiors Inc. of Laconia has announced that Jolene Price has joined its team as director of finance and operations. Price is former director of finance and operations at 3W design inc. Concord.


HEALTHCARE

Seacoast Dermatology PLLC has opened a new office in the Central Commons Building at 750 Central Avenue in Dover. At the new location, the organization will provide skin health education, skin cancer screenings and Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetics and effective treatment for all skin conditions at any age.

Home Health & Hospice Care, a visiting nurse association in Merrimack, has named Barbara Lafrance its new chief clinical officer. She has been with the nonprofit for over 23 years, and was promoted from her role as director of hospice and palliative care.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center and Department of Medicine have appointed Linda T. Vahdat as deputy cancer center director, chief of the section of medical oncology and interim chief of hematology. She will also serve as the Milham professor and professor of medicine at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine.

Katherine Shamel has joined Bi-State Primary Care Association as a program manager for workforce initiatives to help in the recruitment and retention of primary care doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurse midwives for New Hampshire and Vermont health centers. She holds a bachelor’s in nursing from St. Anselm College and a master’s of science in nursing from Rivier University.


FINANCIAL SERVICES



Bank of New Hampshire has announced the promotion of Gayle Price to executive vice president and chief human resources officer.

She joined the bank in May 1984 as a bank services representative and began her human resources career in September 1986. In addition, Cynthia Day has been promoted to vice president and wealth management officer at the bank. Also, Mark Mastenbrook has been promoted to assistant vice president and director of facilities.

Kimberly Place, vice president and a financial advisor at NHTrust, has been recognized as a 2021 Elite Advisor by Infinex Investments Inc., NHTrust’s investment services partner. Place, who joined NHTrust in 2018 as assistant vice president and chartered financial consultant, has held the honor of Infinex Elite Advisor for several years.

Meredith Village Savings Bank has announced the promotion of Robert “Bob” Davis to senior vice president, commercial lending team leader. He is based in the Plymouth branch office.



Matt Becker has been promoted to vice president and shareholder of The Rowley Agency, and Joe Ralbovsky has been promoted to shareholder. Ralbovsky has worked with the Concord-based agency since 2003, and Becker has been with Rowley since 2009.


GOVERNMENT

Sean Clancy has been named the city of Portsmouth’s assistant city manager for economic development, succeeding Nancy Carmer, who is retiring after 36 years with the city government. Clancy, associate vice president, marketing and engagement at Great Bay Community College, will start his new job on March 14.


ACCOUNTING



Accounting and advisory firm Baker Newman Noyes has announced three seniorlevel promotions in its Manchester office. Christopher Hussey and Kimberly Pecora have been promoted to managing director in the Tax Department, and Landon and Pecora have been promoted to tax principal.


LAW

Attorney Ryan Flatley has joined the Lebanon-based law firm Downs Rachlin Martin and will practice in the firm’s Trust and Estate group. Flatley joins DRM as counsel after having worked as a trust and estate attorney at Thede Culpepper in Portland, Ore. DRM also has announced the transition of Alison Sherman, a senior trust and estate planning associate, to the firm’s Burlington, Vt., office.

Attorneys Ron Abramson, Jeffrey Manganaro and Christopher Ratté have been promoted to partner at Shaheen & Gordon, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 19. Abramson is chair of the firm’s immigration practice. Manganaro focuses his practice on family law, and Ratté focuses his practice on business and real estate law.

McLane Middleton has announced that attorney Joseph W. Morales has joined the firm as counsel in the Corporate Department. Prior to joining McLane, he was a partner at Withers LLP and Withers Bergman LLP, which operate globally as Withers Worldwide. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.


MANUFACTURING

Jacqueline Bristol has been named president of the Weber Packaging Solutions Honor Council, a yearlong appointment granted to the top territory manager with sales exceeding forecasted goals.

Bristol, the first woman to earn this award in the company’s 90-year history, was appointed to the position for excellence in her territory account management in New Hampshire, New England and New York in 2021.


NONPROFITS



The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund has added two staff members. Sarah Marchant, the new chief of staff, previously worked as Nashua’s director of community development, and Pamela Hawkes, director of major gifts and corporate giving, was a member of the senior leadership team at Families in Transition. The Community Loan Fund also has announced the addition of two members to its board of directors: Ali Sekou of Concord, currently a manager with Hannaford Supermarket and president of the Islamic Society of Greater Concord, and Sid Prabhakar of Bedford, vice president, commercial real estate at TD Bank in New York City.

Granite State Independent Living has named Tracy Gillick its new chief operating officer. She has nearly 30 years of management and accounting expertise in the nonprofit sector.

Granite VNA, formerly Concord Regional VNA and Central NH VNA & Hospice, raised more than $65,000 during its annual Lights, Life and Memories campaign to support hospice care. Through community participation, more than 1,800 names were included in the online Honor Roll, and over 600 names were inscribed on porcelain doves and placed on evergreen trees in service area locations as ways to remember loved ones who have died.

AARP New Hampshire is inviting local organizations and governments across the state to apply for the 2022 AARP Community Challenge grant program. The grants fund quick-action projects that are designed to help communities become more livable in the long term by improving public spaces, transportation, housing, civic engagement, coronavirus recovery, diversity and inclusion. The YMCA of Greater Nashua has announced that Nashua residents Rosmery Torres, a principal at Purple Finch Realty, Nashua, and Amir Toosi, dean of business and security studies at Rivier University, have joined its board of directors.

Manchester Country Club, Bedford, has announced that Daniel Henry has been hired as the club’s new executive chef and Ann Sorrell has been named director of food and beverage. Henry previously worked at Brookville’s Tam O’ Shanter Country Club on Long Island in New York. Sorrell’s professional experience includes Marriott Hotels as well as the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead, Mass.


TECHNOLOGY

Appcast, the Lebanonbased programmatic recruitment advertising technology and services firm, has announced the promotions of Matt Molinari from senior vice president of business development to chief operating officer, and Heather Salerno, previously senior vice president of marketing to chief marketing officer.

Minim Inc. President and Chief Marketing Officer Nicole Zheng has been named to Parks Associates’ inaugural list of Top Leaders In Technology. The research group’s list recognizes industry leaders for their pivotal contributions to the growth of the digital lifestyle and technology markets.


RETAIL

The Sullivan Country Store, in partnership with The Local Crowd Monadnock, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to reopen the store.
