BIONEST WELCOMING EVENT

WHAT: The BioNest program has been waiting for a company to commit to the region and finally, Netherlandsbased biotech company, Detact Diagnostics, is considering Keene as its first U.S. site. Detact was founded in 2014 when it developed a bacterial detection platform to be used for application development in healthcare and food. It could be used on-site at farms to offer a low-cost way to test for bacteria in things like milk, cider and on vegetables. It can also be used in medical settings to provide faster, easier, cheaper results for post-op infections in knee replacement patients, for example. Please join the Hannah Grimes Center for an exposition and discussion with the founder and CEO of Detact Diagnostics, Dr. Joost Gazendam, and the Detact team.
