WHAT: This
in-person, familyfriendly event is open to the public, and features a
variety of engaging exhibitors, educational workshops and demonstrations
of interest to industry members and home-owners alike, live animals,
children’s programs and activities, and a new Garden/Landscaping Skills
Showcase area. The NH Farm, Forest & Garden Expo is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization and provides information and education on all
aspects of agriculture and forestry by bringing the state’s farming and
forestry communities together to share ideas and views on industry
needs, while providing a fun and interesting venue for the public to
learn about these industries and their impact on life in New Hampshire.

2022 OUTSTANDING WOMEN IN BUSINESS AWARDS

WHAT: The
Outstanding Women in Business Awards celebrate New Hampshire women who
have truly excelled, not only in their professional lives but also as
leaders and role models in their communities. While many of these women
come from different industries and walks of life, they share several
traits — a strong sense of self, a success-driven work ethic and the
extraordinary accomplishments to show for it.
This
year’s recipients will take part in a panel discussion about their
experiences and receive their awards during this virtual ceremony.
The
2022 recipients are: Amy Heymans, Mad*Pow; Elizabeth Cash Hitchcock,
the Orbit Group, Minim, The Bookery Manchester, Factory on Willow, LLC;
Judy Rogers, Prime Roast Coffee Co.; Marian McCord, University of New
Hampshire; Michelle McEwen, Speare Memorial Hospital; and Sandra
Almonte, Don Quijote Restaurant. In addition, Arts in Reach will receive
the Advocate for Women’s Empowerment (AWE) Award, which honors an
individual or organization that has made a lasting impact on empowering
women and girls in the Granite State.
