
1. FedPoint recently contributed $10,000 to the Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire in support of its Fallen Firefighters Fund, established in 2002 to provide immediate assistance to firefighters’ families. The donation was made to mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy and to honor first responders who lost their lives on duty. 2. The Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH) recently received a grant of $11,612.64 from The Fabulous Find, a nonprofit resale boutique in Kittery, Maine, to support programs and operations at Rollinsford’s historic Colonel Paul Wentworth House, an educational and cultural center that hosts exhibits, demonstrations, school programs and living history events in the community. 3. Granite VNA recently honored Vung Thomte with their peer-nominated Living Our Values award, which honors an employee who best demonstrates the organization’s core values of respect, compassion, culture of excellence, leadership and stewardship in his or her actions among peers and with patients, families, community members, donors and volunteers. 4. Last month, Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County participated in the 2021 Subaru Share the Love Event, where Subaru of America will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer’s choice of participating charities. Meals on Wheels partnered with Prime Subaru in Manchester to raise awareness for the popular year-end sales and giving event to drive support for Meals on Wheels, which will receive a share of the donation raised by Subaru in the state. 5. New England Kenworth, the largest familyowned truck dealership group in New England, recently donated a 2017 PACCAR MX-13 diesel engine and tools to the Diesel Heavy Equipment Technology program at White Mountains Community College. 6. Ginny Finer, president-elect of the Rotary Club of Concord Foundation, at left, presented a check for $4,500 to Valerie Guy, executive director of The Friendly Kitchen, at right, to aid in the organization’s mission to feed the city’s homeless populations. Since The Friendly Kitchen opened in 1980, it has served over 600,000 meals, with more guests coming year after year.
