SOME states may offer a better environment for adults 65 and older to save and stay financially healthy. According to a recent MagnifyMoney study, New Hampshire ranked No. 2 for lowest share of older adults living below the poverty line, with just 6.2 percent of older adults in poverty.

NEW businesses are an important driver of employment and the creation of new jobs in the United States. Based on findings in an AdvisorSmith study, New Hampshire ranks No. 10 as one of the top states where people are most likely to start a business, right behind Massachusetts which ranked at No. 9. Mississippi was the state where people were least likely to start a business.
