The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce that Steven Camerino has officially joined the Manchester-based law firm of McLane Middleton as its CEO. Camerino, who previously was president and CEO of the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, succeeds Cathy Schmidt, who has retired from the job she held for over eight years. Camerino’s appointment marks a return to the law firm. He was a shareholder and director of McLane Middleton, focusing his practice on corporate and energy matters, when he joined NHEC in 2015. “We are excited to welcome Steve back to McLane Middleton as CEO,” said Barry Needleman, McLane Middleton’s managing director. “He brings significant executive management experience from his time as CEO at NHEC as well as a familiarity with the firm and the legal industry.” Needleman also said he was “incredibly grateful to Cathy Schmidt for her leadership. She led the firm during a time of growth and with a strong commitment to clients, community service and colleagues.” See also
