1 For the fifth year in a row, E & J Gallo Winery and the NH Liquor & Wine Outlet teamed up to help raise funds to support the mission of the New Hampshire Food Bank. E & J Gallo Winery generously donated 50 cents to the New Hampshire Food Bank on sales of select bottles of wine sold at NH Liquor & Wine Outlets during the months of November and December 2020. This year’s donation will help to provide approximately 70,000 more meals for Granite Staters experiencing food insecurity.

2 Thanks to the generosity of St. Catherine’s Parishioners and Knights of Columbus Marian Council 5748, approximately 26,000 more meals from New Hampshire Food Bank will be provided to Granite Staters experiencing hunger. During the month of February, the Knights of Columbus Marian Council 5748 hosted a “Cyber Food Drive” with St. Catherine’s Parishioners, and pledged to match donations up to $5,000.

3 Congratulations to Trooper Evan Nadeau of New Hampshire State Police Troop A. Trooper Nadeau completed his probationary year with the division. He previously spent seven years at Exeter Police Department before joining New Hampshire State Police. Staff Sergeant Walker presented Trooper Nadeau with his permanent plates and Troop A collar pins.

4 Gov. Chris Sununu flashed his Covid-19 vaccination card at another mass vaccination at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on April 10.

5 Key Auto Group was among the major contributors to the Together 200 Challenge, donating $10,000 to fight hunger and benefit city restaurants and the arts in Portsmouth. The fundraiser was launched by XSS Hotels and Cathartes as a 100-day challenge to raise $100,000, which XSS Hotels and Cathartes matched to total $200,000.

6 Piscataqua Savings Bank donated an astounding $19,500 to the Together 200 Challenge to fight hunger and benefit Portsmouth restaurants and the arts. The significant donation helped the fundraiser to quickly reach its $100,000 goal, which was matched by XSS Hotels and Carthates.
