Judith Martin has been named the new executive director of Intown Concord Inc. Martin, most recently director of development and marketing for Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire in Nashua, previously was executive director of the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of Realtors.
TRANSPORTATION

Merchants Fleet, the Hooksett-based fleet management company, has hired Hari Nayar as director of electrification and sustainability as part of its commitment to fleet electrification. Nayar will be focused on assisting fleet clients in making a cost-effective entry into the electric vehicle market, the company said.

Registered nurse Jessica Cheney has been named director of hospice and palliative care at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire. She previously was an ambulatory nurse manager at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Bowman Place, a senior living community set to open in March in Bedford, has announced that Renee McAllister has been appointed as executive director.
North Country Healthcare has announced that Tiffany Haynes-Hicks, MSN, has been named president of North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, Whitefield. Haynes-Hicks most recently served as the organization’s vice president of operations, and before that served three years as director of hospice.
ACCOUNTING
The regional accounting firm of Nathan Wechsler & Company, Concord, was recently named to Forbes’ list of America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms for 2021. The annual list is a compilation of the most recommended firms for tax and accounting services in the United States.
LFS Tax Group LLC, Manchester, has acquired J. Harding and Company PLLC of Plymouth. The combined companies provide accounting, tax return preparation and tax consulting services to businesses, trusts and individuals.
BUSINESS CONSTRUCTION
Al Terry Plumbing & Heating, Hooksett, has added Daniel Desrosiers and Cody Berthiaume to its staff. Desrosiers has 25 years of experience in the HVAC construction industry. Berthiaume has been in the commercial plumbing and HVAC industry for seven years.
Brookstone Builders Inc., Manchester, recently completed a renovation project at the Federal Express shipping center on Industrial Drive in Londonderry. The project involved a range of updates to the facility, which is owned by Aeroterm LLC of Annapolis, Md. Scott Launier was Brookstone’s project manager.
Clear Choice Home Improvements has been listed for the second year in a row on the annual Qualified Remodeler HIP 200 List, which recognizes the nation’s top home remodeling companies. Ranked by annual revenue, CCHI was listed at No. 87.

Rath, Young and Pignatelli, Concord, has announced that Robert “Bobby” Collins has joined the firm’s government relations practice group, RYP Granite Strategies, as a government relations advisor. Prior to joining the firm, Bobby was employed with the New Hampshire Senate as a caucus director. In addition, Kathryn “Kate” Skouteris has joined the firm’s Health Care and Insurance practice groups as counsel. She previously was senior vice president, general counsel and chief administrative officer at Southern New Hampshire Health System.
GOVERNMENT
Victor Drouin, president and co-founder of Green Mountain Communications, Pembroke, has been appointed to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region 1 Regulatory Fairness Board, which is made up of five small business owners, and serves as a resource for small business owners who feel they have experienced excessive federal regulatory enforcement and compliance actions. In addition, Deborah Osgood, president and CEO of the Knowledge Institute for Small Business Development, Exeter, and creator and contributing editor to America’s Entrepreneurial Education and Resource Network, has been reappointed to the board.
Gov. Chris Sununu’s policy director, D.J. Bettencourt, has been appointed deputy commissioner of the New Hampshire Insurance Department. Bettencourt, a former state representative from Salem who for four years has served as the Governor’s liaison to the department, was nominated by Insurance Commissioner Chris Nicolopoulos. Bettencourt also serves as co-chair of the Governor’s Economic Reopening Task Force.

Jessica Hooper of Lempster has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as assistant vice president, mortgage loan originator working in the Lake Sunapee region. She most recently was assistant vice president, mortgage loan originator at Claremont Savings Bank.
Dayna Titus of Holderness has been promoted to vice president, deposit operations officer at New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, Concord. Titus joined the organization more than 17 years ago, beginning as a part-time teller at Meredith Village Savings Bank in 2003.
Jack Cleary has been appointed senior vice president, director of information technology for St. Mary’s Bank.
He has more than 25 years of experience managing IT systems and operations. In addition, Sanela Zulic has joined St. Mary’s Bank as branch sales and service manager at the credit union’s Hudson location. She has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry.
Lynne Ford of Canaan, vice president and wealth manager at Charter Trust Company, a subsidiary of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, has been named to the American Bankers Association’s 40 Under 40 in Wealth Management for 2021. She has more than 17 years of wealth management experience, all with Charter Trust Company.

Brentwood-based ReVision Energy recently completed a 16-kilowatt solar project on the roof of Hermit Woods Winery & Deli on Main Street in Meredith. The 50-panel array is expected to produce over 18,000 kilowatt-hours of clean renewable energy every year, offsetting over 19,000 pounds of carbon.
EDUCATION
Nursing Schools Almanac has ranked Rivier University as a top 100 school. Rivier earned top rankings both nationally and regionally, and placed as the top private nursing school in New Hampshire. Nursing Schools Almanac assessed schools on academic prestige and perceived value, breadth and depth of nursing programs offered and student success.
Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, has announced the appointment of Catherine M. Paden as provost and vice president for academic affairs. She had been deputy provost at Simmons University in Boston.

J. Michael McQuade has been elected to the board of directors of Albany International Corp. McQuade is vice president for research at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pa., and serves on the U.S. Defense Department’s Defense Innovation Board.
NONPROFITS
North Conway-based Zeb’s General Store’s Zeb’s Charitable Fund recently awarded several year-end donations totaling $20,000. The recipients were: Northeast Woodland Charter School, $15,000; North Country Cares, $1,000; Vaughan Community Center, $1,000; Vaughan Food Pantry, $1,000; and 68 Hours of Hunger, $1,000.
Aletta Brown of Nashua has joined Girls Inc. of New Hampshire as advancement manager. She will be focusing on donor development, event planning and sponsorship sales.
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester has been awarded $60,000 in unrestricted operating support from The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation for work through 2023. The grant was made possible by gifts from the Bill and Sheila Steele Fund, Community Crisis Action Fund, Community Fund for the Manchester Region, Ethel and Saul Greenspan MRCF Fund, Grandgeorge Family Fund, Leslie S. and Iola M. Hubbard Fund and Manchester Region Community Fund.






The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation has announced today the election of six new members to its board of directors: Rochester City Councilor Palana Belken of Rochester; Elsy Cipriani of Derry, managing director of the New Hampshire chapter of the International Institute of New England; Maggie Goodlander of Portsmouth, constitutional and administrative law professor at UNH School of Law; former state Sen. Melanie Levesque of Brookline, president of TCS of America Enterprises; Carmen Lorentz of Belmont, executive director of Lakes Region Community Developers; and Connie Roy-Czyzowski of Manchester vice president of human resources at Northeast Delta Dental.
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health has made a $3 million investment in the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund to help its efforts in providing financing and technical assistance to allow homeowners in manufactured-home parks to purchase and run their parks as resident-owned communities, or ROCs.
UScellular recently donated $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester to help the organization host a holiday celebration. The gift was part of $110,000 in funding awarded by the company to support 24 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country this month.
New Hampshire Legal Assistance has been awarded a $90,000 grant from the Endowment for Health to support its lead role in the New Hampshire Alliance for Healthy Aging advocacy initiative. NHLA has served as the lead agency for NH AHA’s advocacy efforts since 2016.
Step Up Parents has announced that Service Credit Union will continue as an official sponsor in the new year. The organization provides financial assistance to kinship caregivers throughout the state who are raising the children of parents with substance use disorder.

Peterborough-based SoClean Inc. recently won two 2020 New Product Awards from HME Business. The SoClean Air Purifier and the SoClean Device Disinfector received top honors from HME, which recognizes outstanding product development achievements by HME (home medical equipment) manufacturers and service providers.
