SALEM: Standex International Corporation has broken ground on a new 217,000-square-foot Standex Grid manufacturing facility in the Houston, Texas area, to manufacture Low Voltage and Bushing Current Transformers, including dry-type and under-oil products. Expected to open in Q2 2027, the new facility will consolidate Standex-Amran’s existing Texas operations under one roof and more than triple manufacturing capacity, expanding Standex Grid’s ability to support growing customer demand across North America.

CONCORD: The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for its 2026 Funds for Education initiative, which awards grants to local education programs that support practical skill-building and connect students to business leaders in the community, where they can learn about different industries and career opportunities. Selected recipients are awarded up to $1,000 to fund projects such as nonprofit initiatives that support local students, after-school programs, educational summer camps, and innovative curriculum created by area teachers that are not funded by school budgets. MILFORD: Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters (AVR), a family-owned and -operated New England roofing and exterior services company, is going to gift a brand-new roof to a local family or individual in need through its annual Holiday Roof Giveaway. The donated roof will replace the homeowner’s existing roof with the same roofing type, either asphalt or metal.
