MANCHESTER: The new Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center officially opened its newly expanded space, which aims to improve access to high-quality outpatient surgical and endoscopic care for patients throughout Southern New Hampshire. Located within the Elliot River’s Edge medical office building, Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art ambulatory facility featuring 18 pre-operative rooms, 6 operating rooms and 12 post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) bays. In 2025, the facility performed 8,669 procedures. The expansion added six dedicated procedure rooms to offer patients a better experience by delivering greater convenience to high-quality outpatient care.
ROCHESTER: Waterstone Properties Group has broken ground on its mixed-use property in Rochester, unveiling the new branding for the development before a crowd of partners and community leaders. Cedar Landing at the Ridge is a $400 million mixed-use expansion will feature approximately 400,000 square feet of space, including more than 220 residential units, healthcare services, a Service Credit Union branch, entertainment venues including a movie theater and arcade, fitness offerings, restaurants, retail, walking trails, outdoor gathering spaces and year-round community programming.
MANCHESTER: The Mark Stebbins Community Center, a collaborative space built to support families on Manchester’s West Side, has received an early investment from St. Mary’s Bank in the form of $500,000. Annual earnings will help support operations every year while the principal continues to grow, creating a reliable source of funding that benefits the community today and for generations to come.
CONCORD: NHTI—Concord’s Community College has added a new nursing aid certificate program to its offerings, where, just after eight weeks, participating students will be prepared to take a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) exam and join one of the state’s most in-demand careers. NHTI’s LNA certificate program includes five days in the college’s learning lab on the Concord campus, and eight days of hands-on learning in a nearby clinical facility. The inaugural summer program features clinical days at Merrimack County Nursing Home.
MANCHESTER: New Hampshire’s first skyscraper — built in 1879 and largely empty for years minus restaurants on the ground floor — is in the final stages of being revitalized as a 27-luxury apartment community called Rendezvous on Elm. The $10 million residential development project, led by owners David A. De Lise and Anthony DeLucia, has been named Project of the Month by the New England Real Estate Journal.
