RYE: Bring Back the Trades (BBTT), a nonprofit dedicated to bridging the skilled trades gap, has launched the Bring Back the Trades Tool Grant Program. The initiative will launch with professional-grade trades kits provided by Milwaukee Tool through 2026 to public schools and community nonprofits across the U.S. Started this month, the program will accept applications in order to award monthly grants consisting of up to $1,500 to support tool programs.

CONCORD: The New Hampshire Forum, a new statewide civic engagement initiative dedicated to elevating the voices of everyday Granite Staters, was officially launched this month. The New Hampshire Forum will bring together thousands of Granite Staters from across the state through a structured public engagement process that blends technology-driven tools with inperson discussions to identify the issues residents care about most. Community discussions will continue through the spring and summer of 2026, building toward a statewide civic assembly in the fall that will deliver clear recommendations to state legislators ahead of the 2027 legislative session.

CONCORD: The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey are bringing back their statewide recycling partnership, inviting consumers and licensed establishments to once again “Bring Back Jack.” Each Saturday from May 2 to May 30, customers who recycle 12 or more empty glass wine or spirits bottles at select NH Liquor & Wine Outlets will receive $25 off a $150 in-store purchase. New Hampshire on-premise licensees who recycle 107 bottles, a tribute to Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7, will receive 10% off an in-store purchase up to $10,000.

MANCHESTER: The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities NH, has launched a new brand and strategic vision, including a new logo, mission statement and vision statement. The New Hampshire Food Bank’s brand evolution was designed to more clearly communicate its core mission and to underscore its commitment not only to ending hunger statewide, but also to ensuring food-insecure residents have access to nutritious food.

CONCORD: The Foundation for New Hampshire Community Colleges, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the state’s seven community colleges, awarded 1,650 scholarships totaling $1.1 million during the 2025–26 academic year. These funds were applied toward tuition, fees, and emergency financial needs to reduce obstacles on a student’s path to degree completion.
