NASHUA: Rivier University has launched three-year (90-credit) bachelor’s degree programs in several majors that have a direct path to the workforce, including artificial intelligence, business management and criminal justice. The 90-credit format streamlines general education requirements, enabling students to complete an applied bachelor’s degree in three years of full-time undergraduate study. The new offering will begin for the Spring 2026 semester.

PORTSMOUTH: Torrington’s Sage Portsmouth, a newly opened 95-unit luxury condominium complex located in Portsmouth, has been recognized as the “Best Multi-Unit For-Sale Community” at this year’s PRISM Awards Gala, earning gold in the “Excellence for Community Design” category. This award is given to structures and developments whose conceptual plan, interior layout and exterior design enables members of the community to access their living space in a convenient and comfortable manner.

CONCORD: Mazda North American Operations, in partnership with education nonprofit DonorsChoose, kicked off the holiday season with a $250,000 donation to provide STEM educators with the resources needed to foster innovation and discovery in the classroom. This initiative, part of the Mazda Be Moved community engagement program, will launch a $100,000 “flash fund” to fulfill project requests, with a focus on STEM, across Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Boston-Manchester schools. Mazda will also match up to an additional $150,000 in donations made to STEM-focused teacher projects submitted nationwide on DonorsChoose.

MANCHESTER: Bank of America has announced that it will deliver $5 million to nearly 100 nonprofit organizations currently addressing urgent food needs for individuals and families. As part of this national effort, Bank of America is providing $240,000 to hunger-relief organizations across the Boston region and New England, including New Hampshire Food Bank, Good Shepherd Food Bank in Maine, and other food banks across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. These grants will help local food banks distribute fresh produce and pantry staples, expand meal programs, and strengthen their logistics capacity to reach more households throughout the winter season.
