TD Charitable Foundation, the giving arm of TD Bank, announced it is making available $10 million in grants of $250,000 each through its 20th annual Housing for Everyone grant initiative, marking the largest investment in its history. The 2026 initiative focuses on eviction prevention and early intervention strategies to promote long-term housing stability for renters in low- to moderate-income communities.

Grants will be awarded to select nonprofit organizations that offer solutions that help prevent eviction.

“Housing remains a critical issue across our footprint and beyond, and a key step to mitigating the issue is providing early intervention tools and education to those most vulnerable,” said Paige Carlson-Heim, head of social impact at TD Bank. “As we mark 20 years of the Housing for Everyone grant program, we recognize that lasting change in housing stability requires an ongoing commitment, and we are proud to support the organizations driving change through education, legal support, and more.”

Since its inception in 2005, the TD Charitable Foundation’s annual Housing for Everyone grant program has awarded more than $63 million to help more than 630 affordable housing initiatives in the U.S. communities TD serves from Maine to Florida.

In this 20-year period, home prices and rents have increased by 65% and 20%, respectively, while median household income saw almost no growth, underscoring the widening affordability gap. TD Charitable Foundation has served as an advocate for affordable housing options, providing grants annually to nonprofit organizations across the bank’s footprint that support communities with the creation, preservation and development of affordable housing options.
