1. St. Mary’s Bank awarded $22,500 to 15 students for its 2025-26 academic year scholarship program in recognition of their academic achievements, community involvement and dedication to personal growth. Recipients are: Riley Barka, Chandler Capps, Jasmine Carter, Catherine Casey, Katherine Glass, Eilish Gunther, Tristan Hasselbach, Corinne Kelly, Logan McDonald, Hailey Michaud, Brian Mokua, Mairi Poisson, Sophie Roussel, Gina Todisco and Leila Zulic.

2 At the NH Dept. of Environmental Services Source Water Protection Conference, held June 12, Commissioner Bob Scott presented awards to the Town of Salem and the South Main Street Water District in Warren for outstanding work to protect the quality and sustainability of sources of drinking water in New Hampshire. 3. Harbor Care Director of Mental Health Services Cameron Bergeron was recently awarded Harbor Care’s first-ever Philosophy of Care Award in recognition for her dedication to helping others over the course of her journey from intern to a state-licensed clinical social worker who is dually licensed in alcohol and drug counseling. 4. Bank of New Hampshire (BNH) has contributed a $2,500 donation to Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST), a nonprofit transit network providing transportation for commuters across the Seacoast region. Funds will go towards the development of COAST’s new operations facility in Dover, NH. 5. The Federation of Tax Administrators (FTA) named the NH Department of Revenue Administration (NHDRA) as a recipient of its 2025 FTA Award for Innovation and Excellence in Tax Administration for the Timber Tax campaign, which was developed to raise awareness and compliance for New Hampshire’s Timber Tax. 6. In a recent proclamation, Governor Kelly Ayotte declared July 2025 as Lakes Appreciation Month in the Granite State. The Governor also commended nonprofit NH LAKES for their leadership in protecting the state’s natural resources and ensuring lakes remain clean. 7. Waypoint honored Dr. Moira O’Neill with the Jack Lightfoot Voice for Children Award on June 18 during the organization’s 175th Anniversary Celebration. As the first New Hampshire Child Advocate, Dr. O’Neill was recognized for her work building a team to help meet children’s critical needs and establishing the office as a trusted part of New Hampshire’s child-serving system.
