WHEN: Monday, June 23, 6:30 a.m. – noon

WHERE: Windham Country Club, 3 Country Club Road, Windham

WHAT: Golfers throughout New Hampshire come and vie for awards at Farmsteads of New England’s annual Golf Scramble. Awards are scored for the longest drive, accuracy, closest to the pin, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards. The event commences with registration and a hot dog BBQ along with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., ending with lunch with awards and prizes presentation.

NH GRANTS INSTITUTE

WHERE: Granite Edvance, 3 Barrell Court, Concord

WHAT: Designed for both novice and experienced grant seekers alike, the NH Grants Institute is a comprehensive and interactive three-day workshop that covers organizational readiness, pre-grant planning, grant identification, strategy, relationship development between grantor and grantee, proposal writing, collaborative grant development, the review process, and forging effective relationships with funders. The focus of the Institute is on giving through private foundations, not federal or state grants. Each day of NH Grants Institute will also feature a panel of NH funders, providing an excellent opportunity to network, learn about their priorities and current approaches to grantmaking and sponsorships, and ask questions. Light breakfast, snacks and lunch are included in registration, which is for all three days.
