1. Common Man for Ukraine, a volunteer-run organization affiliated with the Common Man restaurant chain and Plymouth Rotary Foundation, recently completed its 12th convoy in Ukraine to deliver food and supplies to citizens living amid war. Volunteers delivered 64,000 pounds of food, clothing and supplies to more than 5,000 Ukrainian children and their families.

2. Concord Food Co-Op customers and members raised $2,862.37 in March for the NH Farm to School program, which partners with New Hampshire farms to bring local food products to schools around the state. Shoppers rounded their transactions at checkout up to the next dollar to raise the amount, the co-op’s highest this year. The donation will support school gardens and help coordinate gleaning work.

3. Franklin Savings Bank sponsored the 11th annual SleepOut event with $2,000. SleepOut is hosted by Manchester nonprofit Waypoint, which advocates for unhoused youth. During the one-night program, advocates sleep outside in the cold to show support for youth and fund Waypoint’s unhoused youth and young adult programs. This year, some advocates participated by sleeping remotely in their own locations, while others took part in person at Bronstein Park in Manchester.

4. Eversource is continuing its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation this year to distribute more than 1,000 free trees to customers in communities across its three-state service area into early May. In New Hampshire, Keene and Rochester customers may reserve a complimentary tree, one per household, on a first-come, first-serve basis through an online portal. They can then access an interactive platform showing the best spots to plant trees on their property.

5. Revo Casino presented a check of $14,729.38, generated through its charitable gaming program, to Manchester-based nonprofit Media Power Youth on Feb. 20. Media Power Youth helps youth discover ways technology usage can enrich rather than compromise their academic and personal success, partnering with schools and communities. 6. Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) announced that it is supporting North Conway’s Pope Memorial Library through its $2,500 Community Builder Scholarship. The nonprofit library is privately funded through donations, grants and fundraising. 7. Rye’s Seacoast Science Center (SSC) will host its annual Rescue Run 5K on April 19, sponsored by Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB). It’s the center’s largest yearly fundraiser, benefiting its Marine Mammal Rescue program. MVSB representatives are pictured presenting a $7,500 check to SSC leadership.

8. Salem’s St. Joseph Regional Catholic School recently held a ribbon-cutting for its 65th year of operations with the Southern New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. The school and chamber celebrated the occasion with a choir performance, food and giveaways for attendees.
