1. Revo Casino and Social House opened its newest location in West Lebanon on Dec. 19, drawing in hundreds of visitors. Speakers and guests included Revo founder Dick Anagnost; Revo President Aaron Gomes; Upper Valley Business Alliance President Tracy Hutchins; and Hilary Amery of iHeartMedia. The casino joins others under the Revo name in Manchester, Keene and Dover, with a fifth location slated to open in Conway.

2. Students from private, STEAM-inspired elementary school Bedford Academy participated in regional FIRST NH LEGO League events in Manchester and Merrimack. The school’s second- and third-grade classes won the Challenge Award at the Explore event, teaching problem-solving. The fourth- and fifth-grade classes competed in the Challenge competition, where they built, wrote code and programmed LEGO robots.

3. St. Mary’s Bank and North Branch Construction recently celebrated the topping off of the bank’s new Concord location at 16 Manchester St. The 3,700-square-foot building will offer a full-service credit union branch, two drive-thru lanes and a drive-up interactive teller machine. The location is scheduled to open in summer 2025.

4. Last month, Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast donated $5,000 to the YMCA of Greater Londonderry, celebrating the contribution with a check ceremony on Dec. 12. The funds will help The Granite YMCA support its Teen Leaders Clubs for teens in grades 6-12, a leadership development and community service program.

5. Manchester Community College (MCC) announced in December that all 52 nursing students graduated, passed certification exams and have been hired by local health care providers and facilities. More than 90% of graduates chose to stay and work in New Hampshire, with most working in the Greater Manchester area. 6. Urgent care provider ConvenientMD donated $37,225 to children’s health organizations in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts last fall through its annual Charity Flu Shot Program. During October and November, a portion of every free flu shot was directed to charities in each state. In New Hampshire, the nonprofit High Hopes Foundation received $17,350 to support chronically ill children in the Granite State.

7. The Southern NH Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting for the grand opening of Hammar’s Studio in Salem’s Rockingham Mall, the fine art studio’s second location following its initial site in Dracut, Massachusetts. The business is offering franchising opportunities for more locations. Hammar’s Studio offers arts education with workshops for all ages.

8. T-Bones Great American Eatery celebrated its 40th anniversary with the Southern NH Chamber of Commerce at its original Salem location. Attendees participated in a ribbon-cutting and treated themselves to cake, drinks and food. Mark Fenske and Tom Boucher founded T-Bones in 1984, and it now has six locations around New Hampshire, including Salem.
