IN a recent survey by ResumeTemplates.com, almost nine-tenths of Gen Z workers (ages 18-27) feel they’re underpaid, even those making over six figures. Only 13% of 1,750 workers surveyed feel their pay is fair, and 40% say their current salary isn’t enough to cover their basic needs.

ACCORDING to a WalletHub survey, most Americans say they won’t be buying a new iPhone this year, citing inflation and phone cost. A total 63% of 210 respondents indicate inflation as their reason, while 9 in 10 feel Apple’s phones are overpriced. Additionally, 65% of people feel Apple is a monopoly, and just 2 in 5 Americans think buying a new iPhone is worth going into credit card debt.

THE majority of Americans think artificial intelligence tech does equal harm and good, at 56% of 5,835 U.S. adults surveyed, while 31% say it does more harm than good, a survey by Gallup and Bentley University has found. Nearly eight in 10 respondents (77%) don’t trust businesses either “much” or “at all” to use AI responsibly.

OUT of New Hampshire’s 10 counties, Carroll County has experienced the greatest increase in homeownership over the past four years, debt relief consultants TurboDebt found. The country’s homeownership rose 3%, while the Granite State overall has increased 1% in homeownership over the last four years. The state total percentage equates to about 19,187 new homeowners.

RECENT data from ADP Pay Insights show that Granite Staters who have stayed in their job from August 2023 to August 2024 saw wages increase slightly, at 4.8% year-over-year. The payroll company found New Hampshire residents’ median annual salary in August to be $65,000. Nationally, the median was $58,700. Also at the national level, those who changed jobs in this same yearlong period saw their wages increase by 7.3%.
