SILENT DISCO PARTY AT BEANS & GREENS
WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 29, 7 – 10 p.m.; doors open at 5 p.m.
WHERE: Beans & Greens Farm, 245 Intervale Rd., Gilford
WHAT: Beans and Greens will host a Silent Disco Party in its Notch Biergarten as a benefit for the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction. A silent disco is a dance party at which attendees listen to music through wireless headphones instead of speakers. The party’s sponsor provides headphones, and a radio transmitter broadcasts the music, which is picked up through the headphones worn by participants. Silent discos allow for different music channels to play simultaneously on three different channels, so people can choose music that suits their taste. Headphones light up in different colors, depending on the channel, so groups always know what channels their friends are on. The Beans and Greens Farm to Foodie Taco Truck, Wood Fired Pizza oven and Notch Provisions menu will be available for dinner/snacks. Beer, wine and cocktails will be sold separately.
COST: $25
