In an effort to enhance its infrastructure, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua (BGCN) has launched the Power of YOUth campaign to raise $10 million. According to an email sent to NH Business Review, the funds will be used to update the infrastructure of the nonprofit’s current building at 1 Positive Place in Nashua to enhance its safety and security, while increasing its open-air footprint, in order to better provide a safe and affordable child care center offering mental health support and educating children to reach grade level.

BGCN Executive Director Craig Fitzgerald, a former Club Kid, has expressed the critical importance of these facility upgrades and enhanced programs and services to meet the growing needs of Greater Nashua families.

Currently, the club helps families in 40 communities and 16 school districts across the region.

“Now more than ever, youth development programs are needed to ensure our children succeed,” Fitzgerald said. “As a strengths-based organization that relies on community partners to provide comprehensive services, we know we cannot do this alone. We need the community’s help.”
