NEW Hampshire is among the states with the highest percentage of loyal employees in the U.S., according to a Resume.io analysis of LinkedIn data. Results showed that, in the Granite State, 31.58% of workers prefer the security of staying with a company for 10 years or more. Additionally, 11.8% of New Hampshire employees hop from one job to the next.

WHEN surveying organization decision-makers on their return-to-office plans, ResumeBuilder.com found that 9 in 10 companies will return to the office by 2024. Seventy-two percent of those leaders say returning to office will improve revenue, while 28% say their company will potentially fire employees who don’t comply with new in-person mandates.

IN WalletHub’s list of the hard-working states in the country, New Hampshire ranked high at No. 15. One contributing factor was the state has the lowest idle youth rate — meaning young adults between ages 18 and 24 are either continuing their education or working regular hours. However, New Hampshire ranked No. 46 for having among the highest average leisure time spent per day.

ACCORDING to Bureau of Labor Statistics data compiled by the Pew Research Center, Black Americans make up 12.6% of the U.S. workforce. The highest concentration of Black workers (40%) is in the role of postal service clerk. A 2021 survey found that Black adults see the most barriers in STEM fields, such as an unwelcoming professional environment and the need for more mentorship and representation for young people in the industry. Wage discrepancies are also a major factor.

NEARLY half (42%) of C-suite executives in the U.S. recently surveyed by Robert Half said that concerns about cyberattacks and cybersecurity threats keep them awake at night. The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center measured that total cybercrime losses in the U.S. exceeded $10 billion last year —$6.9 billion in 2021. According to research from IBM, the average cost of a data breach is $4.45 million.
