1. Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) announced the 13 winners of its 2023 Annual Scholarship Program, giving students a total of $13,000 in scholarship awards for higher education. Winning students are: Anilise Brooks, Haley Faucher, Sebastian Gannon, Theo Grandmaison, Timothy Grosky, Rhegan Hart, Ryan Hilliard, Emalie Johnson, Anderson Pickard, Jadyn Stevens, and Jennalyn Williamson.



2. NH Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) recently donated four HP Laserjet Pro m404dn printers and 16 iPhone 8’s to the NH Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence (NHCADSV). The printers will help support the advocacy work that NHCADSV provides survivors, and the cellphones will be given to individuals of domestic violence and sexual assault to help them in their current crisis. 3. After a 50-year medical career, Marc Bard retired and later created the “Paintings for a Purpose” art show to support local charities, which took place in June. Marc’s watercolor artwork will be on display at Meredith Village Savings Bank’s Meredith office until August 1. MVSB President Marcus Weeks is seen here (right) with Marc (left) with his art, and MVSB has also agreed to match up to $5,000 for the fundraiser.



4. The NH Tech Alliance hosted the annual TechWomen Connect and Awards event on June 22, which honors inspiring women dedicated to supporting and advancing women and girls in STEM fields. Recipients were: Tech Student, Kennedy Amorim, Derryfield School (fourth from left); Tech Educator, Jennifer Cava, Academy for Science and Design (fourth from right); and Flo Nicolas, Get Tech Smart and DEI Directive (third from left).



5. The 2023 Legislative Golf Classic, held June 26, raised over $20,000 to benefit Liberty House in Manchester, which supports homeless and transitioning military veterans. 6. On July 8, participants of the pirate-themed HK Powersports Land & Lake Poker Run met for some fun on Lake Winnipesaukee to raise over $100,000 for Easterseals NH, that will help support its programs for children and adults in the state. 7. The NH Bankers Association elected officers and directors for the coming fiscal year during its annual meeting held last month.
