NEW research conducted by Venture Smarter revealed the best and worst states to start an LLC. Based on various economic factors, New Hampshire came in at No. 10, receiving a final score of 54 out of 100. Wyoming was the best state to start an LLC, and California was ranked as the worst state to start an LLC.

IN June, ResumeBuilder.com surveyed 1,351 full-time U.S. workers and found that only 5 percent of workers have an unlimited paid time-off policy, and 100 percent of workers with unlimited PTO took less than 10 days off in the past year. Results also showed that workers with unlimited PTO take less time off and are more likely to work on days off than those with specified policies.

WALLETHUB released a report on the states with the best and worst school systems, and New Hampshire came in strong at No. 6. When looking at the quality of education, the Granite State ranked No. 5, and for school safety, the state came in lower at No. 15. New Hampshire ranked low at No. 46 for having a high bullying-incident rate, but tied with Colorado at No. 4 for reading test scores.

DURING the 2021-22 school year, the Pew Research Center reported that there were 7.3 million students receiving special education or related services in U.S. public schools, making up 15 percent of total enrollment. That’s slightly more than 2010-11, when 6.4 million disabled students made up 13 percent of public school enrollment.

ADDITIONALLY, people living with a disability earned a median income of $28,438 in 2021, compared with $40,948 among those without a disability, according to the Census Bureau. People with disabilities accounted for 4 percent of employed Americans in 2022, employed mostly in management occupations (12 percent) and office and administrative support occupations (11 percent).
